Year 6 Bletchley Park

1st March 2025

On Friday, Year 6 travelled to Bletchley Park as part of our History and Computing Learning. The children enjoyed a tour around the park and acted out what would have happened when people arrived during the war. We also took part in a code-breaking workshop where the staff, where really impressed with the children's code-cracking skills. We even got to have a look at an original enigma machine and have a go at seeing how it coded the enemy's messages. We also spent time exploring the different huts and even saw the office of Alan Turing.

The children had a lovely day and we were impressed with their application of their knowledge.
